Research Opportunities 2004

Research is invited into ecosystem dynamics, conservation biology, population biology, and other environmental topics, including opportunities for comparison with ongoing studies in similar ecosystems on Malpais Borderland Group ranches.

At present, food and lodging are not available at TBR, and researchers must provide their own funding.  Access to research sites on the east side takes about one hour from Animas, partly over primitive roads.  Access to the west side is less than one hour from Rodeo, in part along a privately maintained road.

Researchers are invited to submit one- or two-page proposals to Dr. Robert Scholes.
